The recently deceased Dmitry Bosov (rating Forbes 86) most likely had no idea what kind of war would unfold for his business empire. It would seem that it is just normal hereditary procedures, however, the assets of the deceased have interestingly become too coveted for Bosov’s “friends”. The widow of the businessman, Katerina Bosov, announced tough attempts to seize control of many companies that were owned by her husband. The woman assumes that Bosov’s partner, Alexander Isaev and a group of investors controlled by him were behind the raider attacks. The former partner himself obviously denies any accusations and explains his numerous lawsuits by the “concern” for the company left without leadership. How very caring of him!

Katerina Bosov is currently the chairman of the board of directors of “Sibanthracite”. This title gives her words additional meaning. In such a situation, she acts not only as an inconsolable widow, but also as an entrepreneur faced with the reality of raiding. She said that the raider attacks began almost immediately after the death of her husband in May 2020, she told RBC. Katerina B. described the whole situation in a letter sent to Tamara Pletneva, chairman of the Duma committee on family, women and children.

Interestingly, the widow’s appeal appeared immediately after Pletneva herself asked Rosprirodnadzor and the Prosecutor General’s Office to check Sibanthracite for compliance with environmental regulations. Moreover, the chairman of the State Duma committee personally accused Katerina Bosov of the accident that happened at the Kolyvansky coal mine, which is controlled by Sibanthracite. Bossov did not stand aside and expressed  her regret about the experience of communicating with Mrs. Pletneva. She refused to believe that the latter could be a weapon in the hands of the raiders.

The widow did not give the names of the people who, in her opinion, initiated the raider attacks. However, her representative opened the veil. In an interview with RBC, he said that attempts to seize the Vera coal port in Primorye continue. The action is being carried out by the investors of the UK Elga Ugol company and personally by its general director, former partner of Bosov, Alexander Isaev.

Port “Vera”

Port “Vera”, a marine terminal opened in 2019, is located on Cape Otkrytie, in the Primorsky Territory. The current capacity of the port is 7 million tons. In 2021-22, the terminal is expected to reach its full capacity of 20 million tons! The port was created exclusively for the transshipment of coal mined by the enterprises of the Sibanthracite group, however, other sources soon appeared. The terminal began transshipment of raw materials from the Elga coal deposit. In 2019, Albert Avdolyan’s A-Property, in partnership with Sergei Adonyev, announced plans to create an industrial cluster in the Far East. The structures were supposed to include the Yakutsk Fuel and Energy Company, the Elginskoye field, the port of Vera and the Ogodzhinsky project. The project is now frozen for unclear reasons. Responsible persons refuse to comment, however, it is absolutely clear that the raider attacks could just not hold back on the implementation of the industrial cluster project!

Katerina Bosov, through her representative, openly accused Isaev on several occasions. It was once again stated that the ill-fated port of Vera belongs to two joint-stock groups, 50% of Vostokugol and Port Vera Holding, the remaining 50% were distributed among themselves by Ekaterina Lapshina (37.5%), Dmitry Novikov (37.5%) and Rostec (25%).

Contrary to the legalized status quo on May 11, 2020, completely unreasonable, Port Vera Holding demanded that Vostokugol hold a call option for 16.7% in this project at a cost of 3400 rubles. If the option were exercised, Port Vera Holding would receive 66.7% of the shares, which would mean control over the port, and the share of Bosov’s heirs would be reduced to 33.3%.

In addition to fighting for assets using various financial instruments, good old handy raider techniques are used. The port general director was replaced. This act is now contested in court, however, until the decision is made, the person controlled by the raiders continues to operate. Upon coming to his post, Diev began to limit the volume of shipment. Redistributing quotas in favor of their curators.
