Fight in Russia

An appeal to Russian entrepreneurs, current and future business owners.

Although the Center for Combating Raiding in Russia was established in England, its assistance is important primarily to businessmen from Russia and the union economic zone, those of them who found themselves at the beginning of a difficult struggle for their property. Moreover, contacting us for help when you have already crossed the state border and headed to the EU is much less effective than doing it barely seeing the “storm” approaching your business.

The Center’s specialists will help business owners cope with the main difficulties of the raider era: the lack of primary documentation of the enterprise, the inaction of law enforcement agencies, gigantic interim court decisions, and deliberate discrediting of the owners in the media and the blogosphere.

In addition to anti-crisis managers, lawyers, accountants and financiers, as well as specialists in working with public opinion, the Center’s emergency groups include caring entrepreneurs who have already fallen into the ruthless whirlpools of Russian business and emerged victorious from the battle with the raiders.

Counteracting raiders requires a whole range of purely crisis skills and competencies. They differ from similar non-crisis ones in their essence and in terms of the approach to implementation: urgency, accurate risk assessment and forecasting the consequences of management decisions, high team coordination.

For example, a peacetime lawyer is a specialist who, as a rule, works for several clients at once and is accustomed to a measured life. During a raider attack, such a lawyer would definitely have to abandon all other clients. But even in this case, the specialist simply will not have enough skills and experience in dealing with multiple refusals of law enforcement officers or protecting the interests of the company in specific arbitration processes unknown to him.

Or, for example, a traditional accountant. This is a narrowly focused specialist who has sufficient knowledge to ensure the operation of the company, but these skills are hardly enough to recreate scattered or lost financial statements.

Over the past decade, Russia has experienced a boom in business courses and programs. They explain and show how to find a niche for your business, how to set up sales, and reduce the tax burden. But for all the importance of business development skills, the Anti-Raiding Center is convinced that courses on protecting businesses from capture have become equally valuable for Russian merchants.

Businessmen do not think about it and, according to Russian tradition, believe that this will never happen to them. However, one does not need to be held captive by illusions. Even if today the bell does not ring for you, it does not mean that everything will happen again tomorrow.
