The administration of the Altai Territory and local deputies asked the relevant federal bodies to protect one of the largest enterprises in the region from raider attacks.
Kuchuksulfate is the largest enterprise in Russia with its profile. As you might guess from the name, rubbers and sulfates are produced there in large volumes and are the most valuable raw materials for a number of industries. Probably this was the reason for the unprecedented interest in the enterprise on the part of all kinds of wicked officials and, as local journalists say, some generals. Soon, the desires of these individuals grew into concrete actions. Representatives of the United Russia party from the Blagoveshchensk region wrote about this alarming situation to the executive committee of the ONF to Mikhail Kuznetsov and the Altai regional branch of their party.
For help.
“Kuchuksulfate is the leader in the production of sodium sulfate in the Russian Federation. produced chemicals are supplied to glass, pulp mills, household chemicals manufacturers, etc. In 2019, 654 thousand tons of various products were shipped.
“Kuchuksulfate” is a city-forming enterprise for the Blagoveshchensk region, if one may say so. The facilities are located in the village of Stepnoye Lake. The staff is 1.2 thousand people. The average salary today is 45.6 thousand rubles. The enterprise allocates 1.7 billion rubles a year to the budget of various levels, of which 40% goes directly to the regional treasury. In addition, Kuchuksulfate heats 90% of the village’s residents by providing communal heating services.
Recently, a program of modernization of the enterprise was implemented in the amount of 14 billion rubles.
The essence of the letter.
In an appeal dated December 14, 2020, members of the United Russia party insisted on resolving the issue of long-term pressure of a criminal nature “from a certain raider group” on the enterprise. Oddly enough, the letter contains accusations against representatives of law enforcement agencies and other officials from the supervisory authorities who are cooperating with representatives of the business community in the actions to seize the Kuchuksulfate enterprise.
The names of these people are not tactfully called.
Further on, the current situation is described, the main problem is the lack of payment of dividends to shareholders and the threat of non-fulfillment of social obligations to the residents of the Blagoveshchensk district. The most unpleasant surprise for the residents of this location may be the cessation of heat supply due to the stoppage of the enterprise. In this case, 90% of the population of the village may suffer.
The management of the enterprise, headed by the general director Dmitry Goryunov, is completely silent. As it became known to local journalists, everyone involved in the essence of the situation was forbidden to share any information about the change of the management team or owners.
Is enough being done?
As Denis Goloborodko, head of the regional executive committee of United Russia, deputy of the AKZS in the district that includes the Blagoveshchensky district, noted in an interview with the local newspaper Tolk, a request was prepared by his party body to Rosprirodnadzor to clarify too frequent checks in relation to Kuchuksulfate Also, according to a significant functionary of the United Russia, all the necessary information about the criminal shade of the situation is in the law enforcement agencies.
A similar appeal was also sent to Rosnedra with an urgent request not to interfere with the upcoming licensing process of the enterprise.
Vyacheslav Khimochka, Minister of Industry and Energy of the region, also confirmed his assistance in obtaining a license for Kuchuksulfat. He noted that in December 2020, the regional government sent a letter to Rosnedra with a request to accelerate the licensing of new deposits for the extraction of raw materials by the enterprise.
