Former subsidiary of Yuzhuralzolot, Darasunsky mine, filed an appeal with the arbitration court. The main requirement is that the firms returned the property, and a total amount of 320,000 RUB was collected.
In more detail, the Darasunsky mine filed a lawsuit against the Yuzhuralzoloto holding, which is under the leadership of the billionaire and an official of the legislative assembly – Strukov. The enterprise from Transbaikalia sent an appeal to the arbitration instance of Yuzhnouralsk. Information about the incident was published among the documents in the file of the judicial authority.
The first statement that it is necessary to recover the amount of money in the amount of about 330,000 RUB and the property was sent on 06.06.2021. But the court decided to leave the statement of claim without movement, as violations were seen in it. “Darasunsky mine” corrected all inaccuracies, after which the arbitration had to put the case into operation. But at this stage, the exact date of the hearing has not been determined.
It is worth noting that the Darasunsky mine was previously owned by Yuzhuralzolot. Strukov’s firm in 2007 bought this asset from the well-known firm Highland Gold, which included Abramovich, Oif, Shvidler. According to some information, the holding company from Chelyabinsk spent ¼ million USD on the contract. After 10 years, when about 10 billion RUB was contributed to the mine for development, Yuzhuralzoloto no longer became a co-founder, having sold its part to Uryumkan. Then there was information in the media, according to which the price of the asset was equal to approximately 1 million USD.
Considering all this, we note that on May 17, a short period before the transaction, the holding’s administration made a statement that it wanted to close the platform due to large losses. In their opinion, this was influenced by illegal mining. Also, according to the data, employees of the mine went on strike numerously due to non-payment of wages. These brawls were so noisy that they reached the authorities of the region.
When a little time had passed since the moment of sale, Strukov put forward demands to Uryumkan to pay compensation or return 100 percent of the capital due to the millions lost as a result of the sale of the asset. It is worth noting that in the 20th year, Uryumkan sold its part of the Vostok-Zoloto company. The co-founder of the company was Sviblov, a former member of the board of directors of the Pik development company. Although, according to information from Seldon.Basis, at this stage, the authorized capital is included in the pledge obligation on the account of Promsvyazbank.
